Stayed in Great Robbins Shaw, its a fantastic site, the field is all wild grass with the pitches and winding paths mowed down for access. The staff were all really friendly. Washing up stations were really handy and the showers and toilets were unbelievably good. It rained heavily on my last day, but the field is the right balance between flat enough to pitch comfortably but on a slight incline to let the water drain, so had no issues with standing water. Also, because cars aren’t allowed in the camping field it meant there was no churned up mud to contend with!

Stayed in the meadow which was peaceful being a couple of mins walk away from the main site with toilet/ shower block still accessible.
Was very busy by the weekend being the last bank holiday of the season.
One antisocial group did their best to spoil it for others but the fab team were on the case.
All the staff were friendly and efficient..the 3 or 4 x daily checks meant the site was spotless and any problem sorted.
The campfire social was an unexpected bonus as was the free tea and cake before the cafe opened on the last day of the season.
The BBQ evening at the cafe was fantastic and great value for the quality of the food.
    Everything here done well.
All in all a fab stay.
Please though don’t bring a car with an alarm that goes off easily.
